Art Deco ruby and diamond engagement ring. This vintage ring features a bezel set pinkish red ruby framed in milgrain beading. Dotted around the top of the platinum set are diamonds, set amongst rows of milgrain. The pop of red contrasts beautifully among the white of the diamond and platinum set top. This ring sits low and wide on the finger and the flush set gemstones make it easy to wear without catching. Circa 1920s, British in origin.

Ruby: pinkish-red in colour, oval cut, approx 3.4 mm by 3 mm, 0.15 carats.

Diamonds: 8, approx 0.11 carats total.

Marked 18ct & PT. This ring is mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - N; US - 6 3/4; EU - 17.2. This ring can be sized down to L / 6 and up to R / 8.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 7.9 mm by 13.3 mm on the finger and stands 3.45 mm tall off the finger.
