Small vintage ring box for displaying a wedding or engagement ring. This is a slender box for a slender, dainty engagement ring or wedding band. The ring is held in place by a little hook which can be used to stand the ring up once the box lid is opened. The shape and size of this box make it easy to hide in a pocket. The outside is embossed with a sweet ribbon and bow design. Due to the size this display box is best for a slender ring or an engagement ring with a smaller stones; the clearance is approx 4 mm when the lid is closed. Dates to the late Art Deco era.
