Art Deco diamond dress ring set in platinum. This ring has been crafted in a wonderful shape! The centre row of five diamonds are graduated in size and each set in a square step design down the finger. To the top and bottom are diamond shaped designs each holding a diamond and set slightly higher than the geometric shaped diamond encrusted frame around the edges. The shoulders of this ring are engraved in a scrolling design and milgrain beading outlines the top centre diamonds. A pierced design highlights the geometric square shapes of the top of this ring. The shapes are bold but the overall design is feminine in design with carefully crafted details. Circa 1920s - 1930s.

Diamonds: 13, 1 is old European cut, the other 12 are eight cut / single cut. Total approx 0.45 carats, I / J colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity calculated within the limits of the setting.

Marked 10% Irid Plat. This is a common hallmark for a platinum ring. It's 90% Platinum and 10% Iridium, a typical alloy still in use today.
