Art Deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring. This beauty of a ring is square in shape. Bezel set in the centre is a French cut sapphire. In each of the four corners of the top of the mounting is a bead set single cut diamond. The edges of the sapphire and the top of this ring are lined in milgrain beading. Set into the top of each shoulder is a single diamond. The D shape profile band is gold, contrasting against the white top in which the gemstones are set. Circa 1920s, British in origin.
Sapphire: light blue, French cut, approx 3 mm square.
Diamonds: 6, single cut, approx 0.07 carats total weight.
Stamped 18ct PT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
Size: UK - M; US - 6.25; EU - 52,7. This ring can be sized between K.5 / 5.5; EU - 50,8 and P / 7.75 / 56,2. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 7.6 mm wide by 3.35 mm deep. 2 mm band.
