Filigree diamond engagement ring dating to the Art Deco era. A single diamond is set down in a hexagonal shape. The top of this ring is domed and the fan design filigree down the shoulders. Garlands of engraved, detailed work loop around the setting which has a floral design engraved band. Pierced sections of metal work support the diamond. The engraving is approx 90% of the way around the band. Circa 1930s.

I've found two places, seen under 10x magnification, which look like the delicate filigree has been repaired.

Diamond: old European cut, approx 3.4 mm and calculated in setting as 0.15 carats, G / H colour, VS clarity.

Stamped 18K, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - M.25; US - 6.5; EU - 53. This ring can be sized between K.5 / 5.5 / 50,5 and O.5 / 7.5 / 55,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 9.9 mm wide and stands 6.2 mm tall off the finger. Band is 2.0 mm wide at back centre.

Weighs 2.7 grams.
