Stunning emerald and diamond engagement ring. This ring features a wonderful light green emerald cut emerald gemstone. The emerald is bezel set into a platinum top which is lined in milgrain beading. All around the edge of the emerald are old single cut diamonds, 14 in total. The diamonds are flat along the longer sides of the emerald and create a fan shape at the top and bottom edges. Engraved into the entire top of this ring is delicate milgrain beading which can be seen between each diamond and around the edges. Circa 1920s, British in origin.

Emerald: light green, rectangular shape, step cut natural emerald. Measures approx 5.55 mm by 3.6 mm, calculated in setting as 0.33 carats.

Diamonds: 14, total approx 0.23 carats total weight.

Marked as 18ct Pt. This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
