Gorgeous diamond engagement ring dating to the Art Deco era. This ring is designed as a cluster which is bead set with nine single diamonds. The centre diamond is outlined with a square of milgrain beading. To the top, bottom and sides a petalled design flares out from the centre and each of those petals is set with a single diamond. Between those are an additional four diamonds set into curved shapes. The entire top of this ring is lined in milgrain beading and the contrast of the curves and straight lines make this ring just lovely! The diamond set top of this ring is accented by narrow, tapered platinum topped knife edge shoulders which lead to a slender D shape gold shank. Circa 1920s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 9 = 0.08 carats total. Centre measures approx 2 mm, 0.03 carats. The other 8 total 0.05 carats. Carat weights calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped PLAT.18ct. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.
