Vintage square shaped diamond solitaire engagement ring. An old European cut diamond is bead set within a square setting. The platinum topped shoulders are cathedral shaped and slope boldly away from the diamond. The band is 18 carat yellow gold and can be seen on either side of the platinum topped setting. This is a simple, sleek design dating to the Art Deco era, circa 1920s, and is British in origin.

Diamond: old European cut, approx 3.6 mm and calculated in setting as 0.11 carats, I / J colour, SI clarity.

Marked 18ct Fine Plat. This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with a platinum top.
