Vintage diamond engagement ring. This lovely ring dates to the Art Deco era and houses an older cut diamond. The diamond is hand cut with a higher crown and smaller table than a modern cut diamond with a pointed rather than open culet. It's set into a square shaped top with flared triple claw prongs at each corner. Beside the main diamond are four single cut accent diamonds, two on each side. These diamonds are lined in a very fine milgrain beading with the shoulders leading to a knife edge band. Circa Art Deco, 1930s.

Diamond: old cut of approx 3.8 mm, calculated as 0.22 carats, J / K colour, SI2 / I1 clarity with 4 accent diamonds totalling 0.04 carats. Total carat weight of 0.26 as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 100 IRID - 900 PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as platinum.

Size: UK - L; US - 5.75; EU - 16,25. This ring can be sized between J.5 / 5 / 15,7 and O / 7.25 / 17,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 5.2 mm wide by 5.1 mm deep at diamond, 2.25 mm wide at accent stones, and 1.25 mm wide at back centre.

Weighs 2.6 grams.
