Antique seal and watch key dating to the Victorian era. Talk about multi-tasking! This pretty petite fob is set with a gorgeous yellow citrine to the base. The gemstone citrine is carved with a dear jumping in a field. This sweet intaglio can be used to impress in wax to seal envelopes...and while you're at it, why not wind your pocket watch? The top of this funnel shaped gilt metal pendant is a little watch key. The jump ring to make the bail is on a collar which spins around so you'll always be at the correct angle to complete your admin! Circa mid 19th century.
In very good condition with age related wear to the gilt metal.
Measures approx 21.9 mm / 0.85 inches in height (wears at an angle which is not taken into account), widest point is 13 mm / 0.50 inches across.
