Antique late Victorian 9 carat gold book chain. The link are crafted in open, oval shape links which are formed together in pairs. The double belcher style link is long and lean, making it easy to easy. This chain is a short collar length and features an oversized bolt clasp, perfect for holding a locket or another large pendant. Should you wish for just a chain, the clasp can be turned to the back. This is a beautiful and versatile piece dating to the late 1800s, British in origin.

Marked 9ct on a link, tested as 9 carat gold throughout.
