Gorgeous slinky antique gold tone long guard chain. This chain, perfect for layering, is made of longer flat links alternating with small round links. The longer links are flat, shiny and bold, a great look! True to it's time period, this chain does not open with both sides terminating at a dog clip. The dog clip swivels. Circa late 19th century.

Maker's mark on one of the terminating rings, not known to us. Not marked otherwise, this chain is gold tone metal.

Measures approx 140 cm / 55 inches in total length, which is doubled over with each terminating end connecting to a swivelling dog clip. This chain does not fully open, it is made to loop around the neck.
