Tis the season for drama! This silver bracelet is formed from seven intricate silver filigree webs, each with a spider to it's centre. Each web is delicate, mimicking the perfect nature of a spider's web in nature. The webs are domed, sitting off the wrist, and each is connected with a longer oval link. Victorians love the use of nature in jewellery and it really shows with this beautiful bracelet. Circa late 19th century, approx 1880s - 1890s.
In very good condition with some slight bends to the webs in keeping with age and use. The clasp works by pulling the nail head up which allows the two sides to fit together for the nail head to be pushed back through all three, securing the piece.
Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver.
Measures approx 18.5 cm / 7.25 inches end to end. Webs are 23.45 mm / 0.93 inches wide.
