Lovely white gold trombone link chain accented with seed pearls. Sweet oblong links sweep the collar bone in this chain while the 20 silvery seed pearl add a bit of lustre. The chain is a great colour, not the bright white of modern white gold, but a more subtle warm tint to it. This chain fastens with a two-toned barrel clasp complete with a safety catch. Circa early 20th century.

In very good condition with some light wear to the nacre on the seed pearls in keeping with age and use.

Stamped PT950 on the clasp, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold and platinum. The main white links of the chain tested as 18 carat white gold. The tongue part of barrel clasp tested as 18 carat yellow gold; this is the section which is completely unseen when the clasp is fastened. The rest of the barrel clasp tested as platinum; this is the majority of the clasp and what you can see when the clasp is fastened.

Measures approx 41.5 cm / 16.25 inches in wearable length. The seed pearls are approx 2.33 - 2.41 mm wide allowing this chain to be threaded through a medium to larger bail size. The oblong links are approx 1.4 mm to 1.5 mm wide.
