Blue sapphire three stone engagement ring. Three deep blue oval cut sapphires are set in crown style 18ct settings. The sapphire are oval in shape with the largest in the centre flanked by two sapphires of matching colour. This ring is very classic is style and sapphires have long been used in engagement rings, however it's a bit unusual to have an entirely sapphire three stone ring! The pinched shoulders by the rex setting widen to a D profile at the back. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.
