Antique sapphire and diamond five stone ring. This ring is claw set with blue sapphire and old mine cut diamonds in an alternating, graduated design. Each of the gemstones is held in six white claws on a slender tapered gold band. This would be a lovely unique engagement ring or dress ring. September is the birthstone for September. Circa 1900, British in origin.

Sapphires: 3, oval cut, approx 0.23 carats total weight.

Diamonds: 2, old mine cut, approx 2.65 mm each and calculated in setting as 0.10 carats total.
