Antique single stone opal ring dating to the Edwardian era. This pretty rectangular shape opal solitaire ring is a stunner! The while opal shows stunning flashes of greens and oranges. It's held in four tab style claws, one each to the north, south, west and east. The squared style of this ring softens at the D profile band. The band is rosy in colour, flattering the oranges and greens of the opal and in keeping with jewellery from this time period. Circa 1900s - 1910s, British in origin.

Opal: rectangular in shape, approx 11.7 mm by 7.1 mm. This opal appears bluish in colour in bright indirect sunlight (as shown in photos). In warmer lighting it appears more white in body colour with flashes of green & orange as shown in the photo with a flower.

Stamped 9ct, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.
