The sweetest petite bean pendant from the mid 20th century. A white opal has been carved into a bean and made into a wearable pendant. The opal is mainly white with some subtle rainbow colours, mostly greens and blues. We see these little lucky beans carved out of different gemstones but an opal is rather unusual!
The opal is partially drilled and there is glue around the top where the bail meets the opal, this would be for security.
Not marked, professionally tested as 9 carat gold which is rose in colour.
Measures approx 14.6 mm / 0.58 inches tall not including the bail, by 6.85 mm / 0.27 inches wide by 3.25 mm / 0.13 inches deep.
Weighs 0.4 grams.
