Sparkling hand cut antique diamond stud earrings. A total classic! Each of the old mine cut diamonds is set in an eight claw mounting. The diamonds, true antique cuts, are wonderfully wonky attesting to the cutting of the time which would have been done by hand. Because the lighting was different at the time, gemstones were cut differently with high crowns and chunkier facet patterns, allowing them to catch the candle light of the day. Perfect for the romantics out there! The diamonds date to around 1860s - 1880s and the settings are circa 30-50 years later.

Diamonds: old mine cut of approx 2.85 mm each, 0.18 carats total, G / H colour, I1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Marked 750 on scroll backs, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold through which is white in colour.

Measure approx 3.4 mm wide.

Weigh 0.8 grams together.
