Antique long rolled gold guard chain. This chain is design as alternating long rounded bar links and a narrow trace chain. The terminating bar links are connected to an oversized jump ring which has a swivelling dog clip. This chain is long enough to wear doubled or tripled around the neck and is strong enough to hold a heavy pendant or locket. The dog clip is a slightly different colour indicating it's likely a replacement. Circa 1890s - 1910.
