Vintage aventurine gemstone necklace. This early 20th century necklace is crafted as a sterling silver trace chain strung with 13 dark green oval shaped stones. The aventurines are graduated in size with the largest in the centre and ending right at the collar bones. The back around the neck is plain, for comfort. The silver trace chain is made of figure eight links and connects at the back with a hook in eye closure. Circa Edwardian to Art Deco.

Aventurine: 13, oval shape, approx 1.55 cm by 2 cm graduating to 1.26 cm by 1.45 cm.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver.

Measures approx 78 cm / 28.75 inches long. Stones are 1.26 cm to 1.55 cm wide and 2.85 mm wide at chain.
