Antique gold filled photograph locket. What a beautiful locket this is! The front of it's circular shape is engraved with a pair of leaves and a graduated scroll design forming an asymmetrical design. Close to the bottom in the centre is a small sapphire blue paste. The back side is unadorned. This locket is hinged at the bottom and opens on the side at the top. There is space for two photographs in the interior and the frames are inbuilt a photograph can tuck under the interior edge. There are no photo coverings. Circa early 20th century, 1900 - 1920s.

In very good condition with some light wear in keeping with age and use.

Measures approx 32.6 mm / 1.25 inches tall including the attached ring but excluding the bail, by 27.55 mm / 1.1 inches wide, by 4.3 mm deep.
