Incredible gold filled locket designed as a book. To the front are vivid blue and red flowers with large flowing green and yellow leaves. A small latch allows it to be flipped open, revelling the interior pages. There is a single frame for a photograph on the interior front and back covers with an additional two pages each holding a photograph on each side for a total of six spaces to hold photos. Holding six photos, this is a rather unique and rare piece.

As far as I can tell the photos are slotted in by simply cutting them to size and carefully slotting them in from the front, the frames are fixed. There are no plastic photo coverings, I'm not sure if there ever were or if they've been lost to time. The two largest photo slots (front and back cover) measure approx 18.9 mm / 0.75 inches by 14.4 mm / 0.55 inches. The other four photo slots are smaller at 16 mm / 0.63 inches by 11.1 mm / 0.45 inches.

In good condition. There is some discolouration to the gold filled corners of the interior pages.
