Georgian angel seal crafted in gilt metal. The two angels are sitting in a small row boat. One is playing an instrument whilst the other is rowing. Around the scene are some words we think say "ELLE MA BIEN CONDUITE" translating to SHE IS MY GUIDE. Though if you have any ideas I'd greatly appreciate you sharing them with me. The orange paste base is oval in shape with an elegant typically Georgian design scrolling design which is easy to hold when using this piece to seal letters. Circa early to mid 19th century, Georgian era.

In very good condition, the metal shows some signs of wear.

Measures approx 25.9mm / 1 inch tall and 19.4 mm / 0.75 inches by 16.2 mm / 0.65 inches on the bottom.

Weighs 6.9 grams.
