Antique silver fancy link long guard chain. Oval shaped links each contain a design of an engraved concentric oval link and a flat shiny link inside. These larger links are connected by small oval and round links to form a long guard chain necklace. Each link is smooth and tactile. This chain has a large spring bolt clasp on one end and a jump ring on the other so it can easily be opened and worn doubled or tripled around the neck. Circa early 1900s, likely French in origin.

Marked on the terminating jump ring with a small legible mark. Tested as sterling silver.

Measures approx 140 cm / 55.1 inches end to end and is approx 4 mm wide.

Weighs approx 33.4 grams.
