Antique French sterling silver long guard chain. This fancy link chain has a lovely design. Large oval shaped links have a fan design with the wire work that makes the fan dotted with a beaded design. The smaller connecting links carry through the ridged and fan pattern. Each end of the chain is attached to a larger terminating jump ring which is also attached to a large spring bolt clasp. The bolt clasp can be used to hold pendants, lockets and charms. Circa 1900s - 1910s, French in origin.

Marked on the terminating jump ring with French marks. Tested and assessed as 800 - 900 silver.

Measures approx 140 cm / 55.1 inches long, and is 7.8 mm wide at widest point.
