Antique floral design diamond cluster pendant. I just love clusters! They are incredibly sparkly and look brilliant with jeans or a little black dress. This cluster has a bezel set diamond to the centre with a halo of eight diamonds around it. The use of the negative space around the centre diamond gives the impression of a snowflake to my eyes. All the diamonds are glittery old cuts, the centre round in shape the outer ones more cushion cut in shape. The bezel and outer edges are lined with milgrain beading. We've converted this piece from a early to mid 20th century piece of jewellery by adding a new platinum bail to match the top.

Diamonds: 9, old mine cut. Centre diamond of approx 2.6 mm, 0.09 carats. 8 surrounding diamonds of approx 2 mm, 0.03 carats each. Total 0.33 carats, G - I colour, VS2 - SI2 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Not stamped, professionally tested and assessed as 15 carat gold and platinum. The back part, which touches the skin, is 15 carat gold, it's naturally yellow in colour and has been rhodium plated to a more white colour. The top edge, where the diamonds are set, the loop at the top of the flower design and the bail are all platinum.
Measures approx 13.9 mm tall not including the bail by 11.8 mm wide.
Weighs 1.4 grams.
