Antique emerald and diamond ring set in 18 carat gold. A wonderfully bright step cut emerald glow from within it's halo of glittering old European cut diamonds. The emerald is a vivid spring green in colour and is bezel set. Framing it are ten diamonds featuring a chunky cutting style, their whiteness contrasting with the green of the emerald. Circa early 20th century.

Emerald: vivid bright green, step cut measuring approx 3.6 mm by 3.3 mm and calculated as approx 0.17 carats within the limits of the mounting.

Diamonds: 10, old European cut, each measuring approx 2 mm for a total of 0.30 carat total, G / H colour, SI1 / SI2 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Not marked, there's a half mark and I think the rest was lost due to sizing smaller. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the emerald set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - I.5; US - 4.5; EU - 15,2. This ring cannot be sized smaller. It can be sized up to O / 7.25 / 17,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 10.50 mm by 9.9 mm on top by 3.6 mm deep at emerald, 1.7 mm band.

Weighs 1.9 grams.
