Nothing says classic quite like a wide 22ct gold band. And this one has incredibly deep, clear hallmarks! This wedding band dates to the Edwardian era and is at just at 5 mm wide is a medium width for a man and on the wider side for a woman. It sits low to the finger with a slightly domed exterior and a flat interior to create a shallow D shape profile.

Traditionally 22 carat gold was used for wedding rings during the 19th century and until World War II when gold was needed for the war effort. The 22 carat gold is a lovely subtle rosy shade as is typical for antique gold. Circa early 20th, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 22 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1902 making this ring 120 years old.

Size: UK - O; US - 7.25; EU - 17,5. Sizes taken from centre. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 5 mm wide by 1 mm deep.
