Lovely old cut diamond panel ring dating to the Art Deco era. Twelve diamonds are set in row, 3 across by 4 down, close together forming a rectangle of sparkle. The outer setting edge dips between the diamonds creating a frilly, scalloped edged look. On each shoulder are three smaller diamonds, six total, in a line trailing down the shoulders. This is a beautiful traditionally early 20th century design with old cut diamonds creating a wall of sparkle and a combination of curved features, the scalloped edge, with a bolder look, the straight rows on the shoulders. It makes for a stunning cocktail ring or an equally stunning and unique engagement ring. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.

In very good condition, some light wear to the white corners by the stones in keeping with age and use.

Diamonds: 18 total. 12 in the centre are a mix of old European cut and transitional cut measuring approx 2.30 mm to 2.40 mm each and totalling 0.50 carats together, I / J colour, SI clarity. 6 in the shoulders are single cut measuring approx 1.50 mm each and totalling 0.10 carats together, I / J colour, SI clarity.
