Edwardian cultured pearl and old mine cut diamond pendant. A stunning large oval shaped cultured pearl sits at the bottom of a tapered row of diamonds. At the top is a collet set old mine cut diamond. This pendant is articulated at the bail and again at the top of the diamond taper. We've added a new 18 carat white gold chain to the drop. The chain is a faceted trace link with a trigger clasp closure. Pendant is circa 1900 - 1910.

Cultured pearl: oval in shape, white colour with very good lustre, approx 12 mm by 10.5 mm.

Diamonds: 4, old mine cut, approx 0.22 carat total weight. The largest diamond at the top of the drop has a rough girdle and a chip at the facet junction which can be seen under magnification.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold on the back of the pendant and on the terminating jump ring of the chain. Chain is modern.

Drop measures approx 3.86 cm / 1.52 inches and chain is 45.5 cm / 18 inches.

Weighs 5.5 grams.
