Antique colourful long paste chain. This Edwardian long guard chain is bezel set with open backed paste in a rainbow of colours. These are linked together with small jump rings. This chain has no closure and can be looped two to three times around the neck. The paste have pointed backs and are cut to sparkle as though they are little gemstones. Circa 1910s - 1920s.

Paste are bright: sunshine yellow, lime green, teal green, clear, royal blue, purple, and pink.

Not hallmarked, this chain is silver plated. The plating has worn through in some areas showing the brass beneath.

Glass paste are approx 5.3 including the bezel.

Measures 153 cm / 60 inches long.
