Antique 9ct gold anchor link bracelet. Chunky mariner links are connected with a slightly smaller oval link between. The links are wonderful, tactile and chunky. On one end is a big oversized dog clip clasp; it doesn't swivel. At the other end is a jump ring. The anchor link is a classic, sought after style, common during the mid to late Victorian era. This bracelet has likely been made from a once larger chain. Circa late Victorian, approx late 1870s - late 1890s.
In very good condition with minor wear to the terminating jump rings at each side.
Stamped 9 . 375 on the links and professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is like most antique British gold, a warm peachy colour between rose and yellow gold. This piece definitely leans towards rose gold, but not the bright pink / red of modern rose gold.
Measures approx 20 cm / 8 inches in length by 8.25 mm in width. This bracelet can be shortened if required, please enquire.
Weighs 27.4 grams.
