Anchor link chain necklace crafted in 9 carat gold. This link has long been popular and it's easy to see why! Oblong links with two holes allow the next link to be threaded through. This style of link is what is used on anchors, and it looks great, narrow or wide, in jewellery. On this chain the anchor link alternates with a simple round trace link. This is a nice lovely chain in a medium weight which secures with a large barrel clasp. Circa turn of the 20th century.

Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold. The gold is rosy in colour as Victorian gold often is.
