Antique 9 carat gold snake chain dating to the late Victorian to early Edwardian era. This chain is so smooth and slinky, it's one of those styles that drapes very nicely and looks amazing on day or night! The links are lightly faceted with flat exteriors forming a hexagon shape. This necklace secures with a wonderful, large barrel clasp which clicks tightly into place. Circa 1890s - 1910s, British in origin.

Stamped 9c on the tag on the terminating link by the barrel clasp. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat throughout, the gold is rosy in colour.

Measures approx 45.5 cm / 18 inches long by 3.1 mm wide.
