Antique 9 carat gold chain extender. The Victorian chain is crafted from classic and timeless curb links which all have their original Victorian gold stamps. At one end is a jump ring, soldered closed for safety, and the other has a dog clip.

In the group photos, this is the bottom extender. The other pieces shown are available separately.

A lot of antique chains, originally made for gentlemen's watches, are too short for how they are typically worn now, by women as neck chains. We've added a dog clip, also 9 carat, from the same era, so that this piece can be used as an extender to your favourite chain. Or as a drop to display a pendant! Circa 19th century chain and dog clip, we've attached them together.

Clear 9ct stamp on the dog clip; 9 . 375 on the jump ring on the dog clip end, and on the terminating jump ring. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout.

Measures approx 80 mm / 3.15 inches in total length. Curb links graduate very slightly, 4.65 mm to 4.25 mm. Terminating jump ring has a internal diameter of 3.6 mm and the large dog clip, which does not swivel, is 21.3 mm long by 8.25 mm wide.

Weighs 4.9 grams. A good weight for it's size.
