Antique decorative 9 carat gold fob dating to the late Victorian to early Edwardian era. This watch fob is designed as a set of four elongated chain links which taper to connect the top to the flat bottom. The bottom is plain and has not been engraved. Circa 1900, British in origin.
Stamped 9ct, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold. Also stamped for the maker J.C & S. We believe this to be Joseph Cook & Son, a Birmingham goldsmith who can be traced between the late 1880s to late 1930s.
Measures approx 2.68 cm / 1.06 inches long and the base is 14.85 mm by 12.9 mm.
Weighs 4.45 grams.
