Antique 9ct gold safety pin. This simple 9k gold safety pin is made from medium gauge 1.1 mm rounded wire. It's an older style which is sprung at one end to allow it to catch in it's clasp and secure the sharp end. Antique safety pins have a variety of modern uses from being a simple brooch to securing a shawl or scarf (perfect for those winter months!) or on the end of a chain to lengthen it and give a place to secure charms. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.

Not marked. Professionally tested and assessed as 15 carat rose gold.

Measures approx 3.35 cm / 1.32 inches long by 0.68 cm / 0.27 inches tall.
