Antique swallow pendant crafted in 15 carat yellow gold. The lovingly engraved bird looks as though it's swooping. It's carefully lines and curves resemble feathers and it has a sweetly engraved face. Swallows are a common theme in the Victorian era symbolising luck and a safe return home, particularly for those who travel such as sailors. This is such a wonderful piece, a good size for daily wear. This piece dates to the late 19th century.

In excellent condition. We've replaced the bail using old, matching gold.

Stamped 15ct on the back of a wing, professionally tested and assessed as 15 carat gold.

Measures approx 28.6 mm / 1.15 inches tall as it hangs not including the bail, by 20.7 mm / 0.80 inches wide.

Weighs 1.95 grams.
