Antique flexible chain link ring crafted in 12 carat gold. This ring has been crafted from a longer length of Victorian to Edwardian chain. Each individual link is slightly over in shape, with a double loop on one end connecting it to the next link. One of those double loops is engraved with a rope design pattern. This ring is entirely flexible making it easy and comfortable to wear. Gold of this fineness, 12ct, was introduced a British standard in 1854 through 1932. We're not sure when this piece was converted, chain links are circa late Victorian.

Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 12 carat gold. The gold is between yellow and rose gold, closer to rose gold in colour.

Size: UK - O.5; US - 7.5; EU - 17,7. This ring is not suitable for resizing. Flexible rings do fit slightly differently to non-flexible rings. I find them to fit slightly larger and think this would best fit size P-P.5 / 7.75-8 / 17,8-18,2. Because of it's shape, this ring is best eased on, not rolled on.
