Amethyst cuff links dating to the mid 20th century. These double faced cufflinks each set with cabochon cut purple amethysts. Each of the four amethysts are held in place with a sterling silver bezel mounting with a closed back. The faces are secured together with a swirling hook. The bezel set amethysts can be removed from the hook that secures them together. This would allow them to be used as buttons or for another project, though we really like them as cuff links! The pop of colour looks great against shirts and would look amazing on a groom for a wedding. Circa mid 20th century.
Amethyst: round in shape, cabochon cut, polished top, with significant inclusions which create a cool galaxy type of look to them.
Stamped SILVER MEXICO. Professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver.
Measures approx 13.50 mm wide and the amethysts sit 8 mm tall.
Weigh 10.9 grams together.
