Kite shape diamond ring dating to the Art Deco era. This panel ring is bead set with five single cut diamonds. In the centre is a single diamond framed by a four pointed star. Immediately around this, within a square lined in milgrain, are faceted beads held by claws. This design gives the impression of there being four little diamonds. Along the flat sides of the square are four larger single cut diamonds. The top of this ring comes to points where these diamonds are set creating a kite shaped outline. The little beads holding the diamonds are decorative and combined with the milgrain and faceted beads creates a stunning look! Circa 1930s, British in origin.
