Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring in the shape of a flower. A royal blue sapphire is bezel set in the centre of eight bead set single cut diamonds. The top of this ring is domed with the sapphire set above the diamonds and the diamonds tilted outward to catch the light. Very fine milgrain beading lines the top edge of the gemstones. The shoulders are topped white which leads to a D shape narrow gold band. Circa 1920s, British in origin.

Sapphire: round cut, approx 3.5 mm.

Diamonds: 8, single cut, approx 0.13 ctw.

Stamped 18ct & PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
