Filigree diamond engagement ring dating to the Art Deco era. An old European cut diamond is set into a square shape. Delicate milgrain beading lines the top edges of the mounting. Beautiful filigree wire work adorns the mounting sloping up to the gemstone. Scrolling foliate style designs accented the beaded metal work. This ring has a floral design engraved band which goes approx 90% of the way around. The diamond is an old European cut with the stunning tiny table that is characteristic. It's set down into the protective setting. Circa 1920s - 1930s.

Small repair on the underside where the ring touches the top of the finger. The band there has been thickened. This is visible from the underside only, not the side or top.

Diamond: old European cut, approx 3.9 mm and calculated in setting as 0.20 carats, G colour, SI1 clarity.

Stamped 18K, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - N; US - 6.75; EU - 54. This ring can be sized between L / 5.75 / 51,5 and O.5 / 7.5 / 55,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 9.55 mm wide and stands 6.5 mm tall off the finger. Band is 2.0 mm wide at back centre.
