Vintage Georg Jensen sterling travel pendant. This large pendant is engraved with methods of transportation on one side including an aeroplane, car and ship. The other side is engraved with St. Christopher, the patron saint of travel and transport. The legend is that Christopher was asked to help people cross a dangerous river to safety, including the Christ child. He's since identified as the patron saint of safe travels. This beautifully engraved pendant shows a ship headed toward dock with a car on the dock and a plane flying overhead on one side. The other is St. Christopher carrying a child across a river. This piece is fully hallmarked with a maker's mark for Georg Jensen, circa 1970s, chain is a modern addition.

Pendant measures approx 3.38 cm / 1.33 inches tall not including jump ring by 3.02 cm / 1.19 inches across. The modern chain is a trace chain which is adjustable to 18 inches or 20 inches.
