Absolutely striking wide two tone band set with rubies. Synthetic / lab created rubies are set in a bold star design. The six engraved stars are set with large cabochon cut rubies and each of the bigger stars is linked by a series of smaller five pointed engraved stars. There's nothing shy or retiring about this ring! It's very wide at over 8.5 mm with good sized stones in an eye catching design. Total maximalist energy! Circa mid 20th century, North American in origin. ArtCarved was a New York based jeweller in business during the first three quarters of the 20th century.
In excellent condition! It looks to have rarely been worn.
Rubies: lab created, cabochon cut, measuring approx 2.6 mm each.
Stamped 14K Σ ArtCarved. Professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat white and yellow gold. ArtCarved is the maker.
Size: UK - N.5; US - 7; EU - 17,3. Sizes taken from trailing edge to help account for it being a wide band. This ring is not suitable for resizing which would interrupt the pattern and design.
Measures approx 8.85 mm wide by 1.65 mm deep at gold and 2.3 mm deep at stones.
Weighs 7.5 grams. This is a heavy and substantial piece.
