Vintage yellow gold dragon signet ring.  This signet or seal ring features an intaglio carving of a dragon statant, or standing on all four legs.  The dragon has been clearly engraved with an open mouth showing a tongue, wings held level with its head, and a curving tail with a point at its end.

The dragon is carved into the centre of a cushion shaped flat top gold ring.  On the sides of the band are raised wide ridges which blend with the gold shank between the fingers.  This ring is fully British hallmarked for Birmingham assay office, 1944.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold.

Measures 8.45 mm wide and rises 1.35 mm tall off the finger.
