Vintage sapphire and diamond set diamond ring. The centre oval shaped royal blue sapphire is framed by a halo of eight cut / single cut diamonds. The sapphire is set in an engraved star design around it with the diamonds set between each of the points. This ring has a split shank design near the sapphire and diamond top. Circa 1920s - 1930s, British in origin.

Sapphire: oval cut, royal blue in colour, approx 3.5 mm by 3.2 mm, 0.20 carats as calculated in setting.

Diamonds: 8, eight / single cut, approx 0.14 carats total weight, calculated as setting permits.

Faintly marked 18ct Plat. This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - S; US - 9 1/8; EU - 19. This ring can be sized down to M.5 / 6.5 and is not recommended for sizing larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 9.15 mm wide and stands 3.85 mm tall off the finger.
