Wonderful classic late Art Deco diamond engagement ring! An early round brilliant cut diamond is set in a traditional platinum crown or rex setting with diamonds trailing down the cathedral setting. The edges of the shoulders are lined in miligrain beading. This is a beautiful white and bright  diamond in a lovely simple and timeless setting. This is a classic setting, still as popular today as it was 70 years ago! Circa 1930s - 1940s, European in origin.

Diamond: 4.5 mm, estimated in setting as 0.30 carats. J / K colour, SI1 clarity.
Side diamonds: 6, old single cut, 0.08 carat total weight.
Total diamond weight as calculated in setting: 0.38 carats.

Hallmarked as Plat and tested as platinum.
