Vintage mid 20th century cultured pearl and diamond engagement ring. A large 8 mm round creamy white pearl is set in yellow gold. Sloping down the shoulders are six eight cut diamonds, three on each side. The diamonds are pave / bead set in a tapered design in white gold. A D profile band of yellow gold complete the simple and classic look of this ring. Circa 1960s, British in origin.

Pearl: cultured, measures 8 mm and has very good lustre.

Diamonds: 6, eight cut, approx 0.04 carats total weight.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter M for 1961.
